We are putting on a Leaving for College workshop. What you say is a Leaving for College Workshop? Many young students are leaving home, to head off to college and are taking their vehicle. For many students their parents have taken care of their vehicle’s maintenance and repairs. Now they may be many miles from home when a problem arises and their parents may not be there to help them. What should they do?

We are providing a workshop to provide the students with some information that will assist them in making better decisions when it comes to their vehicle maintenance and repairs

 Some of the things we are going to cover are:

1.   Why it is important to know where your owners manual is and how to read it.

2.   What is a pre trip inspection

3.   How to choose a repair shop

4.   How to check the motor oil and coolant

5.   How to find information on changing a flat tire

6.   What does a check engine light mean

7.   What does the battery light mean

8.   What to do if their vehicle overheats or is making a strange noise 

 We’ll not only discuss these points but many others also. So if you have a student that is going to be on their own and could benefit from this workshop, sign them up today. The class is on Saturday’ September 8^th at 10:30 AM.  And lunch will be provided after the workshop.
